Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening after arriving in Denton for a short stay. The service was fast and friendly, and attentive. The food was amazing! We had a stew that came with steamed rice, an a fantastic branzino. Everything was prepared perfectly. I’d never had a stew flavored this way and it is my new favorite. The dish was perfectly grilled and seasoned. I’ve only had branzino one other time but this was so much better. The seating was comfortable and the layout of the restaurant was very cozy. We are going to try and visit here again before we leave town.

Taan Eatery offers an exceptional dining experience at an Affordable Price. Every dish we ordered was beautifully plated, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the large, full-color photos make it easy to get a good sense of what you're ordering. During our visit we enjoyed the turmeric roasted cauliflower appetizer, tom yum miso soup, roasted vegetable soup, the seasonal chili beef udon, the Thai sukiyaki beef bowl, and a seasonal peach, ice cream, and tapioca parfait for dessert. We paired everything with two Thai iced teas made with coconut milk. Every course exceeded our expectations, and it was obvious that the chef puts tremendous care and skill into every plate. It's impossible to pick a favorite from our selection, though I would add that you should definitely get the tha iced tea. :) Our server, Amanda, struck exactly the right balance between attentive and unobtrusive. She timed each course perfectly, anticipated what we needed, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Excellent Service in a well appointed and comfortable atmosphere with comfy eating and clean restrooms. The tastes were Exceptional except for our Chilean Sea Bass which was quite over-cooked and as a resul missing that unctouusness. Also a couple of key items we wanted from the menu were not available. The roasted veg French onion soup was one of the best soups I have ever had. Absolutely incredible. The Beef sukiyaki was also fantastic even though we asked for it to be spicy! Will definitlely be going back to try out more items from a very inspiring menu.

The chef here is incredibly talented, masterfully blending traditional Thai flavors with modern American influences. Every dish we tried was phenomenal. The Thai Street Duck Noodles were perfectly prepared with tender, flavorful duck. The Crab Curry was rich, aromatic, and packed with generous portions of crab. We also loved the Steamed Mussels, which paired perfectly with the toasted bread. To top it all off, the dessert was not only delicious but beautifully presented. My wife and I have been waiting to come into Taan Eatery for a long time, and we are so glad we finally did. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere provided the perfect setting for our dinner. We really appreciated the great hospitality, especially from our server, Jase. Jase did a fantastic job hosting us and made some excellent recommendations that made our meal even better. We truly loved our experience and will definitely be back.
